 Mr. Rivera shares his experience with restorative justice practices. He highlights the disservices of zero-tolerance school suspensions, schooling inequities, and the preschool to prison pipeline. He shares that increasing student-supports are a priority.

culturally-sustaining practices
community-based resources
trauma-informed care 
mentoring
